Reno’s First Indoor Pickleball Facility – 3rd Shot Pickleball
Miles Construction Completes Reno’s First Indoor Pickleball Facility – 3rd Shot Pickleball Now Open
Miles Construction announces the completion of the company’s latest project, 3rd Shot Pickleball, in Reno, Nevada. The 28,000 square-foot building is Reno’s first indoor facility dedicated to pickleball, a sport surging in popularity in recent years. Miles Construction was charged with all tenant improvements to turn the existing building into a pickleball mecca complete with nine indoor courts, a coffee shop, offices, work out facilities, pro-shop and a full bar.
“This project has been an exciting opportunity for our team to collaborate on,” said Cary Richardson, president of Miles Construction. “We take pride in working on initiatives that not only serve as valuable assets to the community but also introduce innovative and engaging elements to the area. Being part of the process to bring such a development to life is incredibly rewarding.”
3rd Shot Pickleball features permanent court surfaces – the same surfaces used by U.S. Open tennis courts, as well as court barriers, diffused lighting and contrast paint to enhance play experience. The fitness studio provides members a place to warm up, complete with cardio and weight-lifting equipment. A coffee shop and full bar with a 12-tap self-pouring beer wall provides members with options to cool down and socialize after a game.
3rd Shot Pickleball is open to the public seven days a week from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. Customers can reserve a court, pop in for open play, attend lessons and drills, join a league and more.
