Celebrating 35 Years in Business
1986. That’s the year our founder, Bill Miles, took a leap and started Miles Brothers Construction. Bill saw the opportunity to fill a void in the growing construction industry while at the same time the chance to contribute to the community and help grow our region economically. From the beginning, Miles Brothers Construction was a project of passion and dedication. Fast-forward to 35 years later, and Miles Construction is proud to be a leader in the construction of large-scale projects across the west coast and beyond. One thing that has remained the same is our philosophy – to deliver the best as a partner, contribute to our clients’ success and to support our community.
When Bill started Miles Construction, he did it because he had a true passion for the industry. Beginning as two optimistic brothers to now employing almost 30 of the most hard-working individuals we have ever met.
Over our 35 years in business, our team has worked diligently to be the best in our field. We have completed award-winning projects, we’ve given back to our community, and we’ve helped grow the region’s economic footprint by making large-scaled distribution and manufacturing centers a reality.
Our award-winning projects and dedication to sustainability are a highlight on our project list. The Gold LEED certified Schluter Systems Nevada, a 140,000 square-foot training and distribution center, a 200,000 square-foot distribution center for battery systems at the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center and of course the extensive structural upgrade and renovation of the historic Farmer’s Bank and Bently Heritage Distillery in Minden, Nevada.
Building a relationship of trust with our clients is our top priority. More than 90% of our projects come to us from repeating clients or referrals from past clients. It’s safe to say that loyalty is the backbone of our business. That’s because we do what we say and we do what is right.
During our time operating our business, we have worked on a variety of one-stop-shop construction projects, including commercial/industrial, historic renovation projects, horticulture, hospitality, institutional, office/medical and sustainable building, but we’re not finished yet! As Nevada and our surrounding communities grow, so will we. We are dedicated to continuing our efforts in sustainability and protecting our environment. We’re invested in seeing our community succeed and we plan to be a part of its success for decades to come.
As we celebrate 35 years in business, we’d like to express our gratitude to our clients and our community. We know there are many other companies that would love your business. Thank you for choosing us!
