Working with Us
Best in class industry leaders for more than 35 years.
Why work with us?
Miles Construction has expertise that no other general contractor can claim. Our knowledge and experience in advanced manufacturing allows us to build cost effective facilities today that deliver market-leading profitability in the future.
We are Nevada born.
Miles Construction has deep roots in Nevada, starting with CEO/President Bill Miles, a Nevada native. Nevada is not just where we work but also where we live and raise our families. We’re invested in seeing our community succeed and believe in contributing to the region’s economic and environmental well-being.
The diversity of our projects can be found in your neighborhoods, where you work and in the heart of community redevelopment centers. We’ve worked on local elementary, middle and high schools; a multi-purpose athletic center; and fire stations that are critical to public safety. We’ve led the charge on several large-scale warehouses and manufacturing facilities at the booming Tahoe Reno Industrial Center as well as other areas of the state, including Douglas County, Carson Valley and more. We are industry leaders and innovators.
As an industry leader in sustainable or green building projects, our portfolio highlights the best of Northern Nevada and beyond. When the cannabis industry began to take off in the US, Miles was quick to carve out a niche, building facilities for both regional and National industry leaders across the West Coast. This industry knowledge and experience has positioned us as leaders in the indoor farming industry. Learn more about our work in indoor farming and horticulture here.
We are proud of our heritage.
In Minden, Nevada, Miles is proud to have a partnership with Bently Enterprises. In 2015, Miles completed a renovation of the historic Farmer’s Bank building into the Bently Enterprises headquarters office. Taking a building that’s more than 100 years old and converting it to a sustainable, Platinum LEED-certified building presented a worthy challenge to the Miles team, with the final outcome being a pinnacle of design and function. See more examples of historic renovations here.
We think sustainably.
The future of our planet relies on the decisions of today. That’s why, whenever possible, Miles works to incorporate sustainable building practices, materials and features in our projects. We’re not just protecting our environment but we’re making smart and financially responsible decisions for our clients to walk into a building they feel good about. We are constructing more than buildings, we’re building an economy.
A warehouse or manufacturing facility means so much more than just a new building. It means jobs, homes, tax dollars and so much more that effects our economy. Miles is in tune with the economic growth our region is experiencing. We can help clients determine the best locations for projects based on goals, existing infrastructure, nearby transportation and more.
While we’re at it, we don’t just build boring square warehouses, either. Our advanced manufacturing projects have raised industry standards for efficient and effective design. The revolutionary Schluter Systems, a West Coast distribution center and training facility at the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center, was built to be eco-friendly and to meet the most stringent LEED Gold-certification standards. This project is a prime example of our mission to create sustainable, environmentally-friendly projects that make a better community for all of us. Learn more about advanced manufacturing here.
